Charters
In 2008 and 2010, the PPR Corporate Management negotiated jointly with the members of the PPR European Works Council three Charters intended to bolster the Group’s commitments on Disabled Employment, Seniors Employment and Quality of Life at Works & Prevention of Work-related Stress within PPR companies and brands in Europe.
The three documents, all presented to the personnel representative councils of each entity, are generally intended to guide the actions and initiatives of PPR branches on the respective topics. They are further designed on the one hand to raise the awareness of employees on these subjects and on the other hand to provide a framework of common commitments shared by all Group branches.
Each PPR company defines its own initiatives and measures in line with the principles and guidelines proposed or imposed by the three Charters, sets its own goals and allocates the ways and means needed to achieve them.
A progress update report is presented once a year to the PPR European Works Council assembly.
